General dentistry
Dental experts
We are dedicated to patient comfort and care. If you’re looking for a private dentist, we provide the highest level of dental treatment including consultations, regular check-ups, x-rays and routine dental care.
Dental phobia?
Have you had a poor past experience, or do you have a phobia of the dentist? We understand. We treat many anxious patients compassionately. Our open, honest and caring approach combined with our warm, welcoming environment will put you at ease throughout your appointment.
Family dental care
It’s never too early to protect your children’s teeth. We treat patients of all ages and encourage you to bring your children along to dental check-ups. The earlier you introduce your children to our clinic, the more relaxed they’ll be about attending dental appointments in the future and developing good oral hygiene habits. This is the key to a lifetime of good dental health.
Comprehensive dental care
We will look after your teeth to prevent tooth decay or gum disease which, if left, can lead to potentially complex and costly treatment later down the line. Our treatment starts with a general check-up to talk about any problems or issues you may have. We take the time to look at all areas of the mouth including the gums, teeth, soft tissue, bite, orthodontic assessment and oral hygiene.
Expert dental treatments
Routine check-ups – We encourage our patients to have at least 2 check-ups per year. This will allow us to assess your teeth and identify any issues early to prevent potentially costly treatment in the future.
Hygiene appointments – Maintain optimal oral health with a hygiene appointment. Our skilled dental hygienists will thoroughly clean your teeth and assess your gum health.
Fillings – Cavities or holes in your teeth are caused by tooth decay. We can treat these quickly to prevent them from becoming painful or infected.
Crowns and bridgework – A crown fits over the top of your tooth to add strength and retain the shape of the natural tooth. A bridge replaces missing teeth by attaching artificial teeth to adjacent natural teeth or dental implants.
Root canal – If the nerve inside your tooth becomes infected through injury or tooth decay, root canal treatment will try to prevent loss of the tooth. It will eliminate infection and prevent further problems.
Tooth extraction – If you have a tooth suffering from severe decay or a problematic wisdom tooth, you may need these removed. We can extract your tooth both safely and gently.
Inlays and onlays – Inlays and onlays are used to fix cavities in your tooth that are too big to be repaired with a filling.
Emergency dental appointments
Toothache can be excruciating. Whether it is tooth pain, a broken or knocked out tooth, a lost filling or crown, an abscess or infection, we can see you quickly. Our emergency dental care is available during the week and at weekends and evenings for patients on a membership plan. If you need to see us urgently, give our friendly reception team a call to arrange an emergency appointment.

Frequently asked questions
We recommend that you have at least 2 check-ups per year to maintain optimum oral health. This allows us to monitor your overall oral health and detect any potential issues at an early stage in order to provide any preventative care.
To prevent tooth decay, we would recommend the following:
- Brush your teeth twice a day.
- Floss daily.
- Maintain a healthy diet.
- Use fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash.
- Visit your dentist regularly.
If you’re suffering from tooth sensitivity, speak to your dentist. Here are some things you can do in the meantime:
- Use toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth.
- Maintain good oral health.
- Avoid acidic and abrasive foods.
- Limit teeth grinding (speak to your dentist about getting a mouthguard.)
- Avoid smoking.
The common signs and symptoms to look out for are as follows:
- Red, swollen or tender gums.
- Bleeding gums.
- Receding gums.
- Persistent bad breath.
- Loose or shifting teeth.
- Changes to your bite.
- Pus or abscesses.
If you’re worried about gum disease, book an appointment with us to discuss your symptoms.
To maintain oral health, we would recommend that you replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months. If you notice the bristles of your toothbrush are splayed, flattened or no longer springy, then it’s a clear indication that you need a new one.
We are compassionate and experienced in caring for nervous patients. We will take the time to talk you through everything that will happen during your visit to our practice. Our clinics are warm and welcoming to put you at ease. We can also offer sedation as an option for those with a dental phobia.
We recommend using a fluoride toothpaste and brushing twice a day to remove plaque.
